Selected work / Employee experience
Employee changes, made into a guided journey.
A local redesign of onboarding, employee-change and offboarding work that replaced paper coordination with three connected digital workflows.
Delivered locally · later informed wider standardisationThe challenge
Employee changes were coordinated through a paper-based process. The work crossed HR, managers and multiple support functions, but ownership, progress and communications were hard to follow from one step to the next.
What I led
I redesigned the local operating model and created the digital journeys for onboarding, termination and employee changes. The work covered real change scenarios such as role, affiliate, site and internal or external status changes.
The operating model
HR or hiring-manager forms started each journey. Department-specific tasks and information were routed to the right people; completed actions moved the workflow forward; automated communications kept the employee and contributing teams oriented. I also embedded the existing IT Buddy initiative into the local experience.
Why it matters
The result was a more deliberate employee experience and a repeatable way for teams to manage handoffs. The local model later became a useful foundation for wider affiliate standardisation, while I continued to contribute local requirements and feedback.
