Finance approval digitisation
I redesigned manual approval and signature steps into a governed workflow that works across offices, remote work and changing finance requirements.
The challenge
Approvals outside the ERP moved through email, physical signatures and informal follow-up. Requests could stall when approvers were away from their usual location, and it was difficult to see what needed to happen next.
My contribution
I led discovery, scenario assessment, stakeholder coordination and workflow design. With finance process owners, I defined the decisions, exceptions and information that had to remain visible throughout the approval path.
What I built
I implemented digital routing and signature practices around the existing enterprise environment, then created user guidance and training so the new process could become part of the team's day-to-day work.
