From paper-led work to a connected retail operation.

An independent engagement that brought customer, order, delivery and content work into one structured operating model.

The opportunity

During a broader brand and content collaboration, I found an owner-led retail business relying on paper notes, scattered conversations and memory to coordinate customers, orders, payments, deliveries and everyday work.

What I designed

I created a central operating hub with connected customer, order, payment and delivery records. The design included guided record creation, linked views, a mobile delivery view with the information needed on the move, and a clearer route from daily activity to financial and operational visibility.

Beyond the transaction

The work also established a structured content and collaboration layer: a social-media hub, production planning, meetings, projects, tasks, reference material and a more organised Google Workspace way of working.

Why it matters

This was not a point solution. It connected the visible brand work with the operational work underneath it, giving the business a stronger shared reference point for serving customers, coordinating deliveries and planning what came next.
